Description
The City of Raleigh is soliciting sealed bids for three new, unused 25-ton, three-axle equipment trailers with lift axles. Required specifications include a 62,000-pound GVWR, 50,000-pound maximum payload, 35-foot overall length, 30-foot deck with a five-foot wooden beavertail, 102-inch width, fold-up ramps, adjustable forged-eye hitch, three 20,000-pound axles, air brakes with ABS and ASA, specified suspension, wheels, tires, jacks, steel frame and cross members, white-oak decking, tie-downs, D-rings, LED lights, black finish, and sliding winches with straps. Equivalent products may be considered if they meet or exceed the stated requirements. The trailers must be new and no older than 2026, delivered FOB destination within 90 days after receipt of order to the City's Fleet Management Operations facility. Bidders must provide manufacturer and model information, warranty details, exceptions to the specifications, product literature, and manufacturer's specifications. This is a one-time purchase with no term contract or renewal options.
