Description
The Regional Transit Authority is soliciting bids for two new, unused, current-production heavy-duty equipment trailers meeting or exceeding the specifications for an Interstate 24DTA trailer. Each trailer must have a 24,000-pound load capacity, 29-foot overall length, 8-foot-6-inch deck width, 24-foot deck length, heavy-duty suspension and axles, air brakes with ABS, traction ramps, oak decking, tie-downs, LED lighting, and other specified components. Approved equivalents may be offered with manufacturer specifications and supporting product literature demonstrating compliance. Pricing must include all costs for furnishing and delivering the fully assembled trailers, along with manufacturer manuals, maintenance documentation, warranty documentation, and at least a one-year warranty from final acceptance. The solicitation requires an electronic bid, a completed Unit Price Form, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, a Participant Information Form, applicable DBE/SBE participation forms, and supporting technical documentation for equivalent products. The contract is a fixed-price purchase, and award is to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
