Description
Sacramento County is seeking one new and unused 2026-or-newer, single-axle enclosed utility trailer with a maximum 7,000-pound GVWR, approximately 12-foot interior length and 7-foot width, and an integrated cargo/storage area and bathroom. The trailer must include specified structural, towing, braking, lighting, electrical, plumbing, ventilation, water and waste tank, washroom, cargo securement, tool-storage, safety, registration, labeling, and regulatory features. It must be complete, operational, and ready for service upon delivery, with manufacturer manuals, a minimum one-year parts-and-labor warranty, required registrations and plates, and delivery documentation. The response requires completion of the electronic bid requirements, a bidder basic data sheet, a users list for substantially similar trailers in the Sacramento area, warranty information, delivery lead time, pricing, required certifications and affidavits, and any supplemental bid documents. The County may consider warranty, local service and parts support, local users, delivery lead time, and past performance in addition to price. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers’ compensation; the solicitation also states additional professional, abuse/molestation, cyber, and technology liability provisions where applicable.
