Description
The Municipality of Anchorage, through the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility, is soliciting bids for a turnkey first aid and emergency burn kit program. The contractor must furnish, fully stock, and install 12 Class A first aid cabinets, 38 Class B first aid cabinets, and 11 burn kits at seven utility facilities. Kits must meet the specified ANSI/ISEA Z308.1-2021 Class A and Class B contents, and oral medications are prohibited. The contract also includes quarterly inspection and restocking at all seven locations, plus as-needed off-cycle restocking. Pricing must include labor, travel, installation, inspection, and replacement of used, missing, damaged, or expiring supplies. The estimated evaluation quantities are 28 quarterly location-services and 30 off-cycle service calls, neither of which is guaranteed. Off-cycle requests must be completed within five business days. Separate, itemized invoices are required for each location. The contract has a one-year initial period with four one-year renewal options.
