Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Alaska VA Healthcare System, is soliciting a certified contractor to provide psychological testing for police applicants and ad hoc neuropsychological and fitness-for-duty evaluations for VA employees. Services include scheduling and conducting evaluations, reviewing confidential medical and employment information, discussing findings with employees, preparing compliant written reports and summary opinions, and addressing medical restrictions, accommodations, prognosis, and ability to perform job duties. The contractor must provide an offsite office in the Anchorage metropolitan area. Assigned psychologists must be licensed or certified where services are provided, board certified or board eligible, and qualified to perform the required evaluations. The anticipated firm-fixed-price contract includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with estimated quantities for police applicant and employee evaluations in each period. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and requires technical capability, pricing, and past-performance information.
