Description
The City of Fremont is requesting proposals from consultants to provide engineering and support services for the Marshland Road Bay Trail Segment Gap Closure Project during the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) phase. The scope includes project management and administration; data collection; site investigations; topographic mapping and surveying; geometric refinements; environmental studies; stakeholder and agency coordination; permitting support; and preparation of the Project Report and environmental documentation under CEQA and NEPA. The consultant will support alternatives analysis and development of a final project alternative for a regional trail segment along Marshland Road, including evaluation of Class I trail, single-lane roadway, traffic-calming, drainage, utility, right-of-way, biological, cultural-resource, wetland, and water-quality considerations. Required deliverables include technical studies, environmental documents, project approval materials, cost estimates, schedules, and related Caltrans-compliant documentation. The proposal is limited to 20 pages, with applicable federal and Local Assistance Procedures Manual forms submitted with the proposal and a separate cost proposal uploaded through the electronic bidding portal.
