Description
The U.S. Forest Service is seeking a firm-fixed-price delivery of fleet equipment for the Sierra National Forest: two diesel UTVs, two gas UTVs, three ATVs, and one 20-foot flatbed trailer. The UTVs must meet specified engine, maintenance, speed, seating, tire, cargo, towing, windshield, rock-guard, winch, and door requirements. The ATVs must meet specified engine, rack-capacity, drivetrain, towing, suspension, steering, braking, tire, lighting, bumper, rack-extension, and winch requirements. The acquisition is a total small-business set-aside, and quotations must cover all items. Products must be new, manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer or an OEM-approved source, and must match the specified brand, make, and model requirements; alternate, substitute, or equal products will not be considered technically acceptable. The government intends to make one award, evaluated primarily on price, technical acceptability, and acceptable or neutral past performance. Delivery is required within 180 days after award, FOB destination.
