Description
The City of Boston is soliciting bids for the purchase of one one-ton pickup truck for the Boston Fire Department. The solicitation identifies one vehicle quantity and permits bids for equal items that meet or exceed the specified quality, durability, appearance, strength, design, function, and detailed requirements. Bidders offering an alternative to a named proprietary item must provide the manufacturer's name, catalog number, model number, and price. The bid must be submitted on the official Bid Response Form. Responses may be submitted electronically through the City's Online Sourcing & Procurement system or by traditional paper submission. Paper bids require an original wet-ink-signed bid and one duplicate copy in a sealed, plainly marked envelope. A bid deposit, insurance, and performance security may be required if specified in the advertisement or bid package. The contract is stated to have a one-year term.
