Description
Guilford Technical Community College is soliciting bids for waste removal and recycling services at seven campuses. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, and equipment; provide 30-yard compactors, 8-yard trash and recycling containers, an 8-yard cardboard compactor, and an optional 30-yard open-top container; and perform scheduled collection, hauling, disposal, and recycling services. Recyclable materials include cardboard, office paper, junk mail, magazines, color paper, aluminum, plastic beverage containers, phone books, glass, steel cans, aerosol cans, and catalogs. The initial contract term is one year, with up to two additional one-year renewals. Pricing must be provided for all three years, including monthly rental, haul, and landfill or disposal fees. Bids are evaluated primarily on the lowest responsive price meeting the specifications.
