Description
The Housing Authority of the City of High Point is soliciting a plumbing contractor to provide routine service work, preventative maintenance, plumbing equipment replacement, small and extensive projects not exceeding $50,000, and emergency repairs. The scope includes general plumbing fixture repair, replacement, and refurbishment; backflow preventer testing and repair or replacement; and winterization and de-winterization of plumbing systems at identified locations. The contractor must respond to after-hours emergency repairs 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Routine and non-routine work will be performed through work orders, with routine maintenance and testing scheduled in coordination with the Housing Authority. Proposals must include the required affidavits, certifications, references and experience, workforce information, responder and firm profiles, cost proposal, financial statement or audit, HUD-5369-C, and asbestos, mold, and lead certification.
