Description
The City of High Point's Water Resources Department is seeking statements of qualifications from professional engineering and consulting firms to assess its municipal biosolids program at the Eastside and Westside Wastewater Treatment Plants. The work includes evaluating biosolids storage, dewatering, handling, processing, and final disposal options, including equipment technology, facility location, implementation feasibility, permitting requirements, sustainability, and capital and life-cycle costs. The selected consultant should demonstrate experience with wastewater treatment consulting, multiple biosolids processing and disposal methods such as incineration and dryer technologies, regulatory permitting, cost analysis, project phasing, implementation, and project management. The qualifications statement must include the required cover page, cover letter, firm and team qualifications, project management information, resumes, relevant project experience and references, workload and schedule information, and any proposed special contract terms. Submittals are limited to 20 pages, excluding the cover page, cover letter, and section dividers; cost or fee proposals are not requested.
