Description
Guilford County is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide on-call professional services for various upcoming County infrastructure and municipal capital improvement projects. The scope may include planning, preliminary design studies, architectural and engineering design, bidding support, construction administration and oversight, construction inspection, surveying and mapping, commissioning, cost estimating and life-cycle cost analysis, hazardous material testing, construction material testing, and environmental and regulatory compliance. The RFQ identifies broad service disciplines including engineering, architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, geotechnical, and environmental services, as well as planning and programming, interior design, renovation and adaptive reuse, sustainable and resilient design, building systems coordination, and design review. Firms may apply to the areas matching their expertise and may submit one letter of interest when applying for multiple service types. A non-mandatory virtual pre-proposal meeting is scheduled, and questions are due before the proposal deadline.
