Description
The University of North Carolina Greensboro is seeking vendors to provide all labor, equipment, supplies, site visits, supervision, insurance, minor repairs, and interior and exterior painting for residence halls and academic and administrative buildings. Work includes painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, windows, sheetrock, and plaster, along with surface preparation, cleanup, reasonable furniture movement, and occasional evening or weekend work. The preferred paint product is Sherwin-Williams ProMar 200. Work will be assigned through authorized work orders. Addendum #7 clarifies that window pricing may use square feet or linear feet but must identify a unit cost per window; thresholds for pricing tiers are based on the total quantity of the same work in a single work order; wall painting has a 500-square-foot minimum billable quantity; and additional coats or painting beyond repaired areas require authorization when outside the normal scope. Hourly labor rates apply to authorized miscellaneous or unforeseen work, and equipment is billed at documented rental cost plus the submitted percentage. Subcontracting requires prior written consent, and the prime contractor remains responsible for subcontractor performance, safety, insurance, licensing, and compliance. The contract term is one year with options for up to two additional one-year terms.
