Description
The County of Schenectady is soliciting bids for the replacement of the roof at the Schenectady County Jail, located at 320 Veeder Ave., Schenectady, NY 12307. This opportunity will be awarded as a single prime contract. Specifications can be obtained digitally from BidNet Direct (www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york) or by emailing a request to the Purchasing Department at purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov. Alternatively, paper copies can be picked up at the Purchasing Department, 2nd Floor, Schenectady County Office Building, 620 State Street, Schenectady, New York, 12305, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays, provided a request is submitted via email 24 hours in advance. Schenectady County encourages proposals from woman and minority-owned businesses, with a total MWBE goal of 5.00%. The County reserves the right to investigate bidder responsibility and to waive any informalities or reject any or all bids.
