Description
This solicitation is for the replacement of two existing boilers in Building 7 at Stratton Air National Guard Base. The contractor will be responsible for the safe de-energizing, disconnection, removal, and disposal of the current boilers and associated components. The scope includes furnishing and installing two new high-efficiency boilers with a combined capacity of at least 5.5 MMBtu, a new properly sized expansion tank, and a low-flow water meter on the make-up feed line. The project also requires power flushing the system to remove sludge, potential modifications to utility tie-ins and vents, and connecting the new boilers to the base's Metasys control system. The contractor will be required to submit material submittals for expansion tanks, new valves, and PVC exhaust prior to installation. All contractor employees and subcontractors must comply with installation access and security policies, including AT Level I awareness training. The project is scheduled to begin 14 days after the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within 45 days. The solicitation is set aside 100% for small businesses.
