Description
Avondale School District is soliciting bids for a turnkey Early Childhood Center Structured Cabling Systems project. The scope includes approximately 150,000 feet of Category 6/RJ45 cabling, approximately 20,000 miscellaneous cabling components, two racks, Category 6A cabling for wireless access points, patch panels, outlets and connectors, pathways, cable management, terminations, labeling, testing, certification, and related installation labor and equipment. The bidder must provide a complete bill of materials, pricing and equipment information, installation and project-management qualifications, schedules, references, organizational information, warranties, and required E-Rate identifiers. The project requires prevailing-wage compliance, Michigan labor registration, a five-percent bid security, notarized affidavits, and performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount for successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more. Installation services are scheduled from December 22, 2026, through July 30, 2027, with substantial completion required by July 30, 2027 and closeout documentation due August 29, 2027.
