Description
The Charter Township of West Bloomfield is soliciting bids for construction improvements at Karner Farms Dog Park. The base work includes removal of the existing gravel parking lot and portions of existing pavement, brick pavers, fencing, and gates; excavation and aggregate base installation; asphalt and concrete sidewalk construction; concrete curbs; pavement markings; salvaging and replacing bumper blocks, signs, and gates; chain-link and woven-wire fencing; silt fencing; landscaping and restoration; and related permits and mobilization. Alternate Bid No. 1 includes additional excavation, aggregate base, hot-mix asphalt paving, pavement markings, bumper-block replacement, and restoration. Alternate Bid No. 2 includes a DTE allowance for utility coordination and installation, including conduit, pole removal, service abandonment, and installation of two proposed poles. The project is federally funded and includes Davis-Bacon prevailing-wage, HUD, Section 3, nondiscrimination, Buy America, certified-payroll, and other federal compliance requirements.
