Description
The City of Orange is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide all materials, equipment, trained personnel, pyrotechnic products, music files with cues, staging, setup, operation, breakdown, and cleanup for an approximately 14-minute fireworks show at its annual 3rd of July Celebration. The proposed display includes aerial shells, multishot pyrotechnic devices, opening effects, and a grand finale, generally consistent with the specifications in Attachment A-3. The contractor must coordinate with City departments, provide required staffing and safety equipment, obtain applicable fireworks permits and licenses, complete setup and inspections before the event, provide the musical soundtrack in advance, and remove fireworks debris and fallout after the display. The mandatory first-year event is scheduled for July 3, 2027, with optional displays contemplated for 2028 and 2029. Proposals must include firm information, a work plan and approach, a draft site map, project schedule, work samples, at least three comparable references from the past 10 years, and separate fee proposal materials, including optional future-year pricing.
