The City of Rocky Mount is procuring five 69 kV, 3,000 A power circuit breakers to operate at 69 kV and be installed in the North POD Substation. The scope is primarily the furnishing of the specified circuit breakers in accordance with the technical specifications, bid schedules, and attached data sheet; the City may select permitted alternate schedules and reject any or all bids. The solicitation includes general contract requirements addressing product condition and packaging, payment, insurance, subcontracting, warranties, and compliance with applicable laws. Required insurance includes commercial general liability, automobile liability, statutory workers’ compensation, and professional liability when applicable; the City must be named as an additional insured on general and automobile liability policies.
