Description
Wayne County is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Genoa Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation Phase I project in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The base bid includes approximately 620 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer installation; approximately 510 linear feet of sewer and manhole abandonment; approximately 890 linear feet of 8- to 18-inch cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining; approximately 55 vertical feet of cementitious manhole lining; manhole frame and cover replacement; replacement of a manhole on Old Mount Olive Highway; traffic control, pavement work, mobilization, and related site work. The project also includes improvements at the Genoa, Landfill, Grantham Elementary, Grantham Middle, and Highway 117 pump stations, including generator and grinder replacement, fall-protection installations, vent-pipe installation, bypass connections, and flow-meter improvements. Alternate Bid No. 1 covers approximately 3,705 additional linear feet of 12- to 15-inch CIPP lining and 115 vertical feet of cementitious manhole lining. The anticipated project cost is $2,100,000 to $3,150,000. A 5 percent bid security is required, and the successful bidder must provide 100 percent performance and payment bonds. The contract time is 450 calendar days following the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
