Description
The City of Greenville is soliciting proposals from licensed general contractors to provide house setup and site development services for three affordable homes in West Greenville. The work includes site excavation and grading; reinforced concrete footings; CMU foundations; brick veneer; porches, decks, driveways, and walkways; crawl-space and attic insulation; erosion control; electrical, plumbing, and HVAC connections; landscaping; and final site stabilization. Contractors must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision, obtain required permits, comply with applicable codes and OSHA requirements, and complete each home approximately 45 to 60 days after the Notice to Proceed. The City intends to award a one-year construction services contract and may request additional similar services during the contract term. Proposals must include a cover letter, project approach, schedule, itemized cost proposal, at least three similar-project references, proof of insurance, a valid North Carolina general contractor's license, a general qualifications statement, a nondiscrimination certification, copies of applicable licenses, and the attached Bid Submittal Sheet. New vendors and subcontractors must register through the City's vendor portal and submit a W-9 before providing goods or services.
