Description
The City of Rocky Mount is seeking a preferred vendor, preferably a manufacturer, to supply CCA-treated southern pine distribution poles in specified lengths and classes. Estimated quantities total 724 poles across the listed sizes and classes, with pricing requested for delivery within 30 days and immediate delivery within five days. Prices must include delivery to the destination and unloading at the City's pole yard. Poles must comply with applicable ANSI, American Wood Protection Association, and Rural Utilities Service requirements, including kiln-drying, CCA-C oxide preservative treatment, minimum preservative retention and penetration levels, required branding or tagging, framing specifications, and inspection by an independent accredited inspection firm. The vendor must meet stated prequalification requirements, provide transportation capability, maintain required licenses, permits, and insurance, provide three utility references, and submit the specified pricing schedules, prequalification statement, exceptions form, service-features form, checklist, and bid security.
