Description
The South Central Regional Transit District is requesting proposals for comprehensive ADA complementary paratransit services. The selected contractor will provide eligibility review and certification, rider intake, reservations, service-area verification, scheduling, dispatch coordination, customer service, driver operations, training, safety management, reporting, complaint handling, and related administrative support. Service will be origin-to-destination shared-ride transportation using SCRTD-provided vehicles and SCRTD-provided facilities. The program will be implemented in phases, beginning with service from the Sunland Park Mobility and Energy Hub for Sunland Park, Santa Teresa, Anthony, and related southern service areas, with a potential second phase serving the Mesilla Valley from a planned facility in Las Cruces. Proposals must address staffing, technology, implementation, performance management, safety, confidentiality, federal transit requirements, DBE participation, and pricing for startup, eligibility, reservations, operations, reporting, technology, and optional expanded service. The initial contract term is three years with up to two one-year renewal options.
