Legal Notices NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of the Sole Supervisory District of the Cattaraugus, Allegany, Erie, and Wyoming counties, popularly known as the Cattaraugus/Allegany Board of Cooperative Educational Services, (in accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law) hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for: “Student Transportation ” This is a cooperative bid involving several of our component school districts. Participating Districts include Allegany-Limestone, Andover, Belfast, Bolivar-Richburg, Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES, Cattaraugus-Little Valley, Cuba-Rushford, Ellicottville, Fillmore, Franklinville, Friendship, Genesee-Valley, Hinsdale, Olean, Pioneer, Portville, Randolph Academy, Randolph, Salamanca, Scio, Wellsville, West Valley, and Whiteville Central School District. Bids will be accepted until 3:00 P.M., September 17, 2026, at the Cattaraugus/Allegany BOCES’, 1825 Windfall Road, Olean, NY 14760 and online at BidNetDirect.com. The bids will be publicly opened via a Zoom meeting and in-person on September 18, 2026, at 10:00 A.M ., see bid documents for details. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Internet on the website www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/cattaraugus-allegany-boces. (Free vendor registration is required to view the bid. If there are any problems with registration, please call IPT by BidNet at 1-800-835-4603 and ask for their vendor support department.) Or you may request the information by emailing purchasing@caboces.org . Bids remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept a bid which, in the board of Education’s judgement, is in the best interest of the school district. Description
Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES is soliciting bids for daily and weekly student transportation for participating school districts in Allegany and Cattaraugus counties during the 2026–2027 school year and summer 2027. The scope includes home-to-school transportation, route scheduling, daily round-trip service, transportation for additional students and monitors, early and mid-day dismissals, non-public school transportation, emergency transportation, and route changes as directed by the districts. Bidders must provide compliant school buses, qualified and licensed drivers, standby drivers and buses, vehicle maintenance, cleaning, safety procedures, and wheelchair-accessible transportation when required. The bid may be awarded in whole or in part, by group or individual item, to the lowest qualified, responsive, and responsible bidder. Pricing is requested on the prescribed bid forms, including daily round-trip rates for the first student, additional students, and monitors. Contractors must comply with New York State transportation and education requirements, provide required insurance and certifications, and submit emergency procedures and fleet information. New York State zero-emission busing requirements must be acknowledged.
