Description
The City seeks an annual service contract for as-needed preventive maintenance, standard repairs, and emergency HVAC service at transit facilities. The scope includes labor, parts, tools, equipment, supervision, routine inspections and cleaning, filter changes, maintenance records, and refrigerant status reports. Emergency calls require a response to the job site within one hour; non-emergency work requires a written quote before authorization. The contractor must hold a Texas Class A license with the specified environmental air conditioning and commercial refrigeration/process cooling and heating endorsements, and the work must be performed by the contractor rather than a subcontractor. The contract covers existing HVAC equipment at the Transit Center, Greyhound Station, and El Metro Garage and Operations facilities. The solicitation requests hourly rates for mechanics, technicians, and supervisors across regular, after-hours, and holiday periods, plus a markup percentage for parts, materials, and supplies. The initial term is two years, with two additional one-year extensions available.
