Description
The City of Laredo is seeking bids to construct a new, approximately 3,031-square-foot, single-story veterinary surgical center. The facility includes reception, office, pharmacy, X-ray, surgery, animal holding, toilet, and storage areas. Work includes demolition and site preparation; foundations and structural construction; the building envelope and finishes; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; utilities, landscaping, paving, and related site improvements. The bid schedule includes an alternate for a rooftop equipment screen and irrigation work. Bidders must provide unit prices for the listed work items and a total base bid. A bid guarantee of at least 5% of the total bid is required; performance and payment bonds apply above the stated thresholds. The construction period is 210 working days.
