Description
The City seeks an annual service contract for as-needed preventive maintenance, standard repairs, and emergency HVAC service at transit facilities. Work includes labor, parts, tools, equipment, and supervision for existing HVAC systems, including scheduled inspections and maintenance, filter changes, repairs, and after-hours or weekend emergency response. Emergency calls require arrival at the job site within one hour; non-emergency work requires a site visit and written quote before authorization. The contractor must provide maintenance records and reports, use new manufacturer-specified or approved-equivalent parts, and maintain a local supply of common spare parts. Bidders must hold a Texas Class A HVAC license with the specified environmental air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration/process cooling and heating endorsements, and the contractor and relevant technicians must meet the stated registration requirements. The solicitation requires the contractor—not a subcontractor—to perform all work. The initial term is two years, with two additional one-year extensions available.
