Description
The City seeks an annual contract for new, unused jeans for Public Works and Cemetery employees, with an estimated 135 employees receiving five pairs per year. Requested styles are Wrangler Original Fit 13MWZ and Slim Fit 936DEN, or approved equals, in specified waist and inseam sizes. Bidders must provide brand, model, and specifications for alternatives; the City may request samples. Unit prices must include all costs, including embroidery, setup, freight, and delivery. The supplier must arrange on-site or in-shop fittings and measure employees to determine sizes. Orders will be placed as needed, with no guaranteed annual volume. Delivery is FOB destination in Laredo; the contract has a one-year initial term with two possible one-year extensions. The City evaluates bids with a 5% local-vendor preference.
