Description
The City seeks construction services to repair a residence's damaged foundation and prevent further foundation damage. Work includes selective demolition of the sidewalks and driveway; foundation re-leveling and pier installation; repairs to rafters and roof framing; new sidewalks and driveway; brick repointing, control-joint caulking, fascia trim and paint, wood veneer and paint, and slab-crack epoxy repair; stormwater pollution prevention; and lot grading. The bid schedule includes a $10,000 contingency allowance. Bidders must provide unit prices for the listed work and submit the required bid package and bid guarantee. The construction period is 90 working days. A bid guarantee of at least 5% of the total bid is required; performance and payment bonds apply at the stated contract-value thresholds.
