Description
The University of Southern Mississippi is soliciting bids for the replacement of its existing data center firewall infrastructure. The current firewalls have been in production for over eight years and are reaching end-of-support and end-of-life. The objective is to procure and implement a Cisco Secure Firewall solution, including hardware, software, licensing, support, and associated professional services, as detailed in the provided Bill of Materials (BOM). The new solution must enhance threat protection, improve performance, and support a minimum five-year operational lifecycle. Vendors are expected to submit pricing for the specified Cisco solution and BOM. The agreement sought is for three years with the possibility of two one-year renewals.
