Method:Electronic or Sealed Bid/Mail/In Person Delivery to Chancery Clerk's Office, Purchasing Department, 2915 Canty Street, Suite D, Pascagoula, MS 39567. Electronic bids via www.jacksoncoplans.com. Sealed bids must be addressed to The Clerk of the Board and designated as a bid for the East Central Multi-Purpose Arena Concession and Restrooms (Re-Bid). Bids must include bidder's name and mailing address on the face of the envelope and specify the name of the bid item. Bidder's certificate of responsibility number or a statement that the bid is less than $50,000.00 must appear on the outside or exterior of the envelope or container. For electronic bids, this information must be attached. Electronic bids must be secured with a bid bond. For paper bids mailed, use P.O. Box 998, Pascagoula, MS 39568-0998. Electronic bids must be in 'pdf' format. Authorized signatures for electronic bids shall be an electronic signature or handwritten in blue-ink signature. Corrupted attachments in electronic bids will render the bid null and void. If a bid is less than $50,000.00, a statement to that effect must be included. If a bid is over $50,000.00, a bidder's certificate of responsibility number must be included. If bids are submitted electronically, the requirement for including a certificate of responsibility, or a statement that the bid enclosed does not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), on the exterior of the bid envelope shall be deemed in compliance by including the same information as an attachment with the electronic bid submittal. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids not conforming to the intent and purpose of the specifications, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which, however, shall not extend beyond 90 days from the bid opening date. Description

Jackson County, Mississippi is soliciting bids for the construction of a concession and restroom building at the East Central Multi-Purpose Arena. The project involves constructing a new building with a raised slab-on-grade foundation, concrete masonry units, and a wood-framed ceiling/roof structure with a modified bituminous roof finish. The scope also includes providing and installing all necessary mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work from the street to the building. Additionally, the project encompasses sidewalks, fill material, grading, and grassing along the north side of the existing arena. Kitchen appliances and equipment will be furnished by the Owner.
