Description
The U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) intends to award a sole-source contract to the Jo Carroll Depot Local Redevelopment Authority (JCDLRA) for caretaker services at the former Savanna Army Depot Activity (SADA) in Savanna, IL. This action is authorized by the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Act. The contractor shall provide program management, supervision, labor, and equipment for non-personal caretaker services for the remaining unconveyed property at SADA. Services include facilities and grounds maintenance for approximately 467 buildings and 3,070 acres, operation and maintenance of utility systems (electrical, water treatment and distribution, sewage collection), physical security services (security and fire systems, fences, gates), and roads and pavement maintenance (snow and ice removal). The period of performance will consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option periods.
