Description
NASA/NSSC requires a Multi-Shot Pyrolyzer system for the Astrobiology Analytical Laboratory (AAL) at Goddard Space Flight Center. This instrument will enhance the laboratory's capabilities for analyzing trace organic species in complex mixtures, supporting NASA's strategic plan to investigate volatile elements and compounds in the inner solar system. The system will also support contamination and sample analysis testing for the OSIRIS-REx mission. The required system includes a multi-shot pyrolyzer with a built-in analytical trap supporting EGA/PY-3030D for AC110V, a temperature control programmable from ambient to 900°C with ±0.1°C accuracy, compatibility with standard split/splitless injection port modules, and a MicroJet Cryo-Trap (MJT-2030E) with the necessary mass spectrometer connector. Installation, familiarization training, and a one-year warranty are also required. The vendor must possess nationally recognized expertise in pyroprobe pyrolyzer design and established history of instrument support and service. The delivered instruments must be compatible with existing AAL instrumentation.
