Description
The State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) is procuring Engineering and Maintenance Staffing Services for state buildings in the Bay Region. The contractor will provide skilled labor for up to five Chief Engineers, twenty Stationary Engineers, and seven Maintenance Mechanics. Services will be performed at multiple locations including Ronald M. George State Office Complex, Edmund G. Pat Brown Building, Elihu Harris Building, Justice Joseph Rattigan Building, and Caltrans District #4. The anticipated contract term is 36 months, with bidder rates remaining in effect for the entire duration. This contract is subject to Prevailing Wage requirements, and bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) if required by law. Bidders must also meet minimum requirements including relevant licenses, proof of insurance (General Liability, Commercial Automobile Insurance, Worker's Compensation), and provide at least three references for similar services within the last five years. A Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goal of 3% is required.
