Description
The United States Coast Guard is soliciting proposals for the design, fabrication, delivery, installation, and support of three advanced training devices for their MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters. These include one MH-60T Level 7 Flight Training Device (FTD), one Hoist Mission Training System (HMTS), and one Portable Hoist Mission Training System (P-HMTS). The Contractor will be responsible for the MH-60T FTD and will manage the delivery and integration of the HMTS and P-HMTS. This includes program management, device integration, delivery, installation, acceptance testing, documentation, training, and warranties. The solicitation emphasizes high-fidelity simulation, including cockpit replication, flight dynamics, visual systems, and aural cueing for the FTD. The HMTS and P-HMTS will focus on realistic hoist operations with cable physics and haptic feedback. This is a firm-fixed-price requirement set aside for small businesses. The period of performance is anticipated to be three years from the date of award, with an option for an additional year of extended warranty and support.
