Description
Colusa County is soliciting sealed bids from qualified purchasers for the acquisition of County-owned real property commonly known as the Colusa Medical Center. The opportunity concerns the hospital property and associated medical facilities, with the purchaser subject to existing lease conditions and continuing obligations to operate hospital and medical-office facilities. The purchaser must address the existing lease, maintain required hospital and emergency services, satisfy applicable licensing and regulatory requirements, and complete required seismic retrofits and capital improvements. Proposals must include the offered purchase price, financing and financial-capacity information, hospital operating experience, an operational plan, a seismic and capital-improvement plan, an approach to the existing lease, litigation and regulatory disclosures, comparable hospital-operation references, and an executed Purchase and Sale Agreement substantially in the County's form. The County states that oral, telephonic, faxed, and emailed proposals will not be accepted.
