Description
The USDA Forest Service is conducting a sources-sought market research effort for a contractor to provide on-site basic medical services to students at Flatwoods Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Services are to be performed by a physician and/or nurse practitioner or physician assistant and include examinations, assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, prescriptions, immunizations, chronic and acute care, first aid and CPR, health promotion and education, medical referrals, health-record documentation, and coordination with center personnel and other healthcare programs. The draft statement of work requires licensed medical professionals to work on site approximately one or two days per week during mutually agreed weekday hours, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with service hours varying according to student population needs. Personnel must comply with applicable federal, state, OSHA, HIPAA, Job Corps, and infection-control requirements; maintain required licenses, certifications, accreditations, and insurance; and may be subject to background checks and drug testing. This is a sources-sought notice only, not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded from responses to it. Respondents must provide at least a capabilities statement and their SAM Unique Entity Identifier.
