The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple-award contract for Radiation Safety Officer and Diagnostic Medical Physicist services. The scope includes oversight of radiation safety programs; regulatory compliance; dosimetry; radiation protection and health physics surveys; quality assurance and performance testing for radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, MRI, mammography, dental, nuclear medicine, PET, and related imaging equipment; protocol and dose optimization; shielding evaluations; training; reporting; and participation in radiation safety and quality committees.
