Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting landfill disposal site services in Sonoma County. The contractor must provide a disposal site within a 20-mile radius of 224 Lincoln Street, Santa Rosa, California, for estimated quantities of 1,875 tons of non-compacted refuse, miscellaneous litter, and debris, plus 625 tons of green waste excluding tree stumps. The contractor must accept and lawfully dispose of or recycle the materials, provide signed dump and weight receipts, and comply with applicable organic-waste recycling and disposal laws. The agreement is estimated to run from January 15, 2027, through January 14, 2030, subject to approval and notice to proceed. Subcontracting is prohibited. Bidders must submit unit prices for both line items and provide the required bid forms and certifications. The selected contractor must maintain applicable permits and insurance, including commercial general liability and workers’ compensation/employer’s liability coverage.
