Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting bids for as-needed solid waste services at HHSC Region 06 offices in Houston. The contractor must provide two 30-cubic-yard open-top containers at 1320 E. 40th Street and one 30-cubic-yard open-top container at 5425 Polk Street, with pickup and disposal services performed as requested. Services include regular-hours, after-hours, and emergency hauling; responses within four hours for standard service calls and within one hour for emergency requests; and all required labor, equipment, transportation, materials, and disposal. The initial contract term runs from the date of award through August 31, 2029, with a possible one-year extension. Bidders must provide pricing, at least three verifiable similar references from the past five years, qualifications information, and required affirmations. Historical spend for similar services was $240,000 from September 1, 2021, through August 31, 2026; this is not a guaranteed contract value or volume.
