Description
The City of Pueblo is soliciting bids for 30-yard and 40-yard roll-off waste containers for special cleanup projects within the city limits. The contractor must furnish, deliver, safely place, and remove the containers on the same day, transport the collected material, and lawfully dispose of it at an authorized facility. The anticipated workload is up to two cleanup locations per service day, generally Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with an estimated six to eight containers per day. The contractor must accommodate delivery and pickup requests within two hours of dispatch, provide operational backup capacity, and submit certified landfill weight tickets within 24 hours of each event. The initial project is expected to begin the week of October 19, 2026, with future projects potentially covered by a three-year service agreement and two one-year renewals. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of comparable experience and provide at least three references for projects completed within the last six years. Responses must address licensing, disposal authorizations, vehicle and driver qualifications, insurance, safety and environmental compliance, and any specification or agreement exceptions. Pricing is requested for each 30-yard and 40-yard container, including same-day delivery, pickup, hauling, and overage charges.
