Description
The City of Rifle is requesting proposals from qualified engineering consultants for improvements to Wamsley Way and West Avenue. The project includes approximately 800 linear feet of 8-inch water main replacement with 18 water service connections, a fire hydrant, valves, fittings, and connections to the existing distribution system; approximately 170,961 square feet of roadway reconstruction; approximately 3,600 square feet of concrete sidewalk; ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps; traffic signage and pavement markings; drainage, utility coordination, geotechnical design, potential groundwater mitigation, grading, surveying, and construction traffic control. The selected consultant will provide study and report, preliminary design, final design, bidding/proposal, construction-phase, and post-construction services. Deliverables include surveys, recommendations, reports, 30% and final design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, permit support, construction administration, site observations, and related project documentation. Proposals are limited to 10 single-sided or 5 double-sided pages, excluding resumes, project descriptions, and required attachments, and must include a cover letter with price quote, qualifications, approach and plan, proposed timeline, special services, detailed fee schedule, references, and any proposed contract changes.
