Description
Sedgwick County and the City of Wichita seek one or more organizations to provide evidence-based Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) services under the Stigma Reduction, Community Outreach, and Education priority area. Proposed programs may address community stigma reduction, high-impact stigma reduction for groups such as educators, healthcare providers, first responders, and policymakers, and/or community outreach and education. Eligible approaches include public awareness campaigns, storytelling or speaker events, anti-stigma messaging toolkits, professional training, train-the-trainer programs, policymaker briefings, resource navigation, school- or community-based education, outreach events, and education concerning medications for opioid use disorder. Programs must be multifaceted, culturally sensitive, inclusive, and evidence-based. Applicants may address one or more of the three goals and must identify the applicable goals, activities, and outcomes. Contractors will be required to report performance outcomes quarterly, maintain systems capable of producing accurate and complete grant data, and participate in additional outcome studies or data collection as directed. The anticipated award amount is up to $50,000 per award, with approximately five awards anticipated; the total funding available is $250,000.
