Description
The State of California, through the Department of General Services, is soliciting sealed bids for site compliance and improvements at Patton Landing for the California Tahoe Conservancy. The project includes demolition; accessible site work; replacement of concrete walkways, stairs, and the wooden boardwalk; restroom renovations; drinking fountain and site furnishing installation; plumbing, electrical, hydronic radiant heating, snow-melt system, erosion-control, signage, and related construction work. Bidders must hold an A or B California contractor license and comply with the project’s mandatory 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation requirement. The estimated project cost is $1,124,400, and the contract term is 210 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder must furnish payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, and a bid security equal to at least 10% of the bid. The project involves federal funds and therefore includes Build America, Buy America requirements. A mandatory prebid site inspection is required for bid eligibility.
