Description
Truckee Meadows Water Authority is soliciting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to drill, construct, develop, and pump-test two production wells using the dual-tube, air-flooded reverse-drilling method with concentric dual-wall drill pipe. The wells will use stainless-steel casing and screens and glass beads, with interior diameters ranging from 10 to 14 inches and depths from 250 to 530 feet. The wells must be drilled within 100 feet of existing production wells. Those existing wells will be out of service during construction but must be preserved for future use. The engineer's estimate is $1,710,000 to $2,090,000, and the project is classified as horizontal construction. Partial bids will not be accepted. The solicitation materials also identify mercury sampling and analysis documents for information only.
