Description
Carson City is soliciting sealed bids for the D2 Little Lane Rehabilitation Project, a horizontal construction project involving reconstruction of the western portion of Little Lane from Roop Street to Janas Way and surface treatment from Janas Way to Saliman Road. The work is intended to provide a uniform roadway surface and multimodal connection between Roop Street and Saliman Road, including concrete sidewalks, ADA pedestrian ramps, curb and gutter, valley gutter, pavement markings, traffic signals and pedestrian push-button improvements, utility adjustments, survey monument work, landscaping and irrigation restoration, and related roadway improvements. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, stormwater pollution prevention, surveying and record drawings, permits, environmental protections, prevailing-wage compliance, and required federal certifications. The project is federally funded through Surface Transportation Block Grant funds and is subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements. The engineer's estimate is $1,240,000. The anticipated notice to proceed is November 30, 2026, and the work must be completed within 50 working days after the notice to proceed.
