Description
The Town of Truckee is soliciting professional engineering and related services for Phase 1 of its Municipal Electric Vehicle Master Plan. The selected consultant will develop final designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for new EV charging facilities at Town Hall and the Public Service Center, including dual-port Level 2 chargers, dual-port 50 kW DC chargers, electrical panels, transformers, foundations, trenching, conduit, wiring, civil improvements, signage, pavement markings, and construction BMPs. The scope includes project management, existing-condition review, conceptual alternatives, 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% design packages, bidding and construction support, responses to RFIs and submittals, change-order review, site visits or meetings as needed, and as-built plans. The proposal must address the firm's qualifications, comparable projects, references, project approach and schedule, subcontractors, and acceptance or exceptions to the sample professional services agreement. The project team must include at least one California-licensed professional civil engineer and one California-licensed professional electrical engineer. Addendum 1 requires acknowledgment and submission with each proposal.
