Description
The General Services Administration is soliciting a firm-fixed-price construction quote for modifications and upgrades to Federal Highway office 225 and office-wide systems. The scope includes demolition and reconstruction of an STC-45 sound-rated wall with a sound-rated door and frame; associated floor-finish, suspended-ceiling, and asbestos-testing considerations; replacement of roller shades throughout the office; mounting a video teleconference system in office 225; and installation of a sound-masking system throughout the office. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment, field-verify conditions, maintain a clean and safe work area, and coordinate work to avoid disrupting tenants. The quote must include a detailed labor-and-material price breakdown, technical approach, two one-page narratives for similar projects completed within the past three years, SF 1442, and applicable representations and certifications. The estimated value is $50,000 to $100,000. Work must be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed; the solicitation also requires payment protection equal to 100% of the contract price, with a payment bond preferred, and requires insurance before work begins. Appropriate security clearances, authorization badges, and site restrictions apply.
