Description
Carson City is soliciting sealed bids for the Centennial Park Drainage Project, a locally funded horizontal construction project with an engineer’s estimate of $356,991. The work includes multiple drainage basins with earthen berms, drainage channels and swales, stormwater pipe and outlets, concrete access paths and roads, riprap slope and channel protection, slope revegetation, four-wire fencing, signage, standpipes, gabion baskets, excavation and grading, erosion and stormwater pollution controls, mobilization, demobilization, and restoration of affected existing infrastructure. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, permits, site safety, public protection, traffic control, testing, and related construction activities. Prevailing wages apply, the contractor must perform at least 50 percent of the bid amount, and a bid security equal to at least 5 percent of the base bid is required. The base work must be completed within 40 working days after the City’s Notice to Proceed; additive and bid alternates have separately stated durations. Required bid-time materials include the electronic bid response, bid forms, bid bond, vendor information, conflict-of-interest disclosures, certified payroll authorization, subcontractor and supplier information, and applicable preference documentation.
