Description
Placer County is seeking a contractor to construct and commission battery-electric bus charging facilities for Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transportation (TART). The work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, underground and aboveground duct banks and conduits, concrete equipment pads and supporting structures, and complete installation, commissioning, and turnover of operational charging systems and associated components. The engineer's estimate is $655,000, and award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with the requirements. The contractor must execute and return the contract with required bonds and an insurance certificate within 10 calendar days after notice of award.
